Technical FAQs & Diagnostics
Documented technical explanations by POLADSA metallurgy engineers on root causes of failure, commercial fleet installation procedures, and quality validation.
Coolant follows gravity and turbulent airflow; leaks from radiator hoses, thermostat gaskets, or the water pump mechanical seal often collect on the backing plate, making the accumulation pool misleading. Professional Diagnostic Method: Once the engine has completely cooled down, clean and dry all adjacent mating surfaces. Apply 1.0 to 1.5 bar of working pressure using a cooling system pressure tester. Inspect closely for droplet emergence. If coolant seeps directly from the mounting flange between the backing plate and engine block, the plate or its gasket requires servicing.
